CarbonWP 1.1
So its a status update more than anything, I’m undecided about what I want to do with this theme as of yet. Anyway, its on display on the site currently – its had a fair bit of my time sunk into it over the last month (I know, seems a long time but I’ve had other commitments too).
So some features updated since my last post about it:
- Color scheme changer (backend)
- Google Analytics Script (backend)
A bit crude, but it functions simply enough – the admin can select from a drop down box to select an alternative style sheet (currently, blue, orange and red); green is the default.
I wanted to get rid of the need to constantly insert the Google UA manually on any site I administer – now I have a working script which just requires the GA-UA code be input through the admin page.
- Final Touches
Some CSS tweaks were needed, including a common oversight for me – the comments list and commenting form. Also Webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome) now have the same CSS3 loving that Firefox got, IE users (of any version) do not get to see the beauty that is radial shading with transparencies.
- Breadcrumb Trail
This was my first crack at a breadcrumb trail, it makes its appearance in single pages and the like. Its not complex, and I’m looking to develop it a little further later on.
I’m considering throwing this one out as a free goodie – because I really do love it so.
